What, August 2012? Sorry to revive this old thread, but I just want to tell you how much I appreciate your style. I wrote a lot of that in my younger years, occasionally still do... For me, Tolkien's poetry was a revelation when I was thirteen-fourteen.

I write what one might call 'epic' poetry, the not too emotional and strictly rhyming variety. I've never gotten more than a few pages in writing prose, though. I think I'm terribly boring to read :p

Wow! Softabak, this is awesome. And I think it does, while being actually unfinished, not look unfinished. Rather... it may show and at the same time contradict the transience of life. I must admit, the first thing I thought was how great it would be as a tattoo design. Last but not...
