Id be glad to help you practice asl, I am a student too, but I am not sure what kind of ASL or variation you teach baby's not sure if it is the exact same thing or not.

The question really is whether the Deaf community wants to keep ASL exclusive to Deaf/HoH people, in order to keep it as theirs and not let others influence the language. I just think it would be nice to have the option to take ASL in 6-12 grade as well as college. The more access the better? But this is just an opinion from a hearie.

I usually try to incorporate several non-manual signs when I am signing but sometimes I also incorporate the actual word into my mouthing. As long as it isn't completely frowned upon by the community, I won't be too worried about it. Thanks
