Most of the videos of signed songs I've seen seem to be signed english and not ASL. It that just how songs are normally signed? If not, then why is that?

thanks. :) chefboogie...i'm hearing, I'm just really interested in learning ASL. It's a really cool language and it's nice how Deaf people are like one big family and are all there for eachother.
