    Hi, I don't know if it is different in the United States but, in England, the numbers are definitely signed with the palms closest to the signer's body (i.e. in).

    Hi, I've been involved in the British deaf (with a big 'D') community for twenty years and it has to be accepted that their culture is very different from ours. It's more direct. Or is it that we (the others) tend to pussy foot? Hmm .... . Lottie.
