I'm hearing learning ASL in college... hard to retain and keep signs when it's just me and my girlfriend (hearing) signing around the apt. anyone willing to make conversation?

the same is true for fingerspelling, sometimes if i don't know how to spell someone's name AND i don't know their sign, then i just make sure i mouth the name and get most of the letters in using the first and last letter where they are supposed to be. and no one knows :)

when ppl say that teachers get summers off they mean they're not tied to the school, nothing obligates them to continue working elsewhere. (unless they need to take summer classes to "re-qualify" themselves) but anyways because of recent law changes made by idiots here in WI, idk y anyone would...

My younger sister mentioned this one to me, she said he's the kid from "sandlot II" everyone called "fingers" and yes she thinks he's very cute. and he's from a show while back "the deaf family", i didn't like it too much, kinda too sitcom-ish for my taste. PS watch on HULU.com they've got the CC

To the beginning of the convo about what if this what if that, sometimes these things just happen... if a hearing person's phone gets lost or stolen it's up that person to figure something out. the way i see it is a deaf person who can't call in for work is in the same boat as a hearing...
