... I'm serious... Actually, right now, I have these plugs in my ears that I made out of wax, water, and paper towels. I watched a video on YouTube, with the volume turned up as pound as I could get it, and I didn't hear a thing. I'm so happy right now, I have tears in my eyes :')

If you lived my life, you'd understand. As it is, I'm also trying to figure out how to go mute. I hate talking. I like quiet. I've used q-tips (I have a friend who accidentally made her cousin deaf with them, which gave me the idea.) I've used Bobby pins but I can never get them into the right...

I know people in the schools around me and I have asked around. My friend Laurie is the only one. It's actually a lot less creepy then it sounds! Lol

I would if I could, trust me. Where I live, there is only 1 deaf person within 20 miles. There may be more but they are older then a high school student.

I did not mean for it to come off offensive. I really did not think it was offensive. And you questioning my motives is not what offended me. What offended me was me saying that "making myself deaf was the least of my problems" and then you turning right around and saying "I can only imagine".

Please do not offend me, that does offend me. You cannot judge me off of only 9 posts. If you knew every little detail about me, you might not offend.

And I have seen that video before. When something like this interests me, I research it for days.

Hearing nothing, to me, sounds amazing. It is my opinion. And trust me, making myself deaf is the least of my problems.

Well to me, it is amazing. I think it is very intriguing actually. If you don't feel the same way, so be it. You know, I've actually tried to make my self deaf before. And in sign language club, we always put plugs in our ears so we hear nothing and I looked forward to that.
