Thanks for the welcomes. It is nice to know there are other hoh people out there kinda trapped between the Deaf and hearing worlds. I really wish I had the opportunity to learn sign language as a kid. I got speech therapy instead.:roll:

They really do become an extension of you after working with you day in and day out. It is amazing how in-tune to me she is, I would be lost without her. I dread her retirement.

I am owned by a dog, indeed many people tend to recognize me by her. She is amazing and assists with mobility and balance, and hearing stuff too. I was not a big cat person until recently. After fostering a cat, I am appreciating their personality more and more.

When I first saw this thread a month or two ago, I realized I had an unread Reacher book at home. Since then, I have checked almost all of the Reacher books from the library. So, thank you OP for finally getting me to read that book.
