    If Jahi's families appeals all way to US Supreme Court so the judges will side with hospital because of business and make more difficult to win the medical malpractice lawsuit. US Supreme Court is getting more conservative, pro-business nowadays so business > individual.

    ADA requires most places to provide an interpreter to Deaf and HoH, even jails too, however interpreter availability can be issue if your court date is in morning, right after got arrested last night, so if you committed misdemeanor so you usually sent to home after stayed in jail for 2 hours...

    You can take those course without becoming an interpreter and it is best interest to discuss with advisor.

    I found one - University of Arizona has ASL courses so you can apply for federal aid so Pell Grant should cover entirely on ASL course. https://www.coe.arizona.edu/asl/courses You can contact Arizona School for the Deaf to ask if they offer free ASL courses.

    Actually, I do still have driver license and yes, I can drive if I want but legal issue is one of significant issue for me, even if it is civil and criminal. If low vision specialist tells you that you can drive, so follow their advice.

    You can check with local community college if they offer ASL courses.

    Most Deafblind, including myself have to dependent on someone to drive or use public transportation, so not much option if you are DB.

    Mixed of ASL and PSE since 2000. I was grew up with ASL from 1989 to 1993, so elementary school forced me to use SEE from 1993 to 2000.

    Oh my man, I absolutely hate my old high school and their principal. I got suspended often when I was in senior and the principal told me that if I'm depressed so he suspended me and received 0 on all assignments, so he didn't want to see me graduate until I threaten to sue the school district...
