Having had two mini schnauzers in the family, I can say they're great dogs, clever and fun altogether. Very friendly yes. Loyal and they listen very well.

I'm just one of few that's learning to do that. I will be participating in a workshop related to this subject with PFH and a group of people. I'll gladly start this thread up after the workshop - Meaning sometimes after the first weekend of April. Meanwhile, hold those questions in mind.

You should see a couple climbers at the local gym here. Beer belly's least of the worries. In other words, yeah, haha. For those who might be interested in rockclimbing indoors, here's a site with all the gyms across the US and even the world. Take a gander and maybe you can start there...

Explain what is disability. What is the real population? Are you saying we're not "real"? What is perfectly-abled? What I'm seeing is the implication that those deviate from the norm, in other words, we are "less intelligent", "less human", "second class", etc.? ...You like tossing rubber...

I see there's a sticky for books pertaining to Deaf culture, but nothing about movies. Which comes to me as a surprise. Could we get this thread sticky'd and if people are willing to share what movies are out about the Deaf culture? I personally don't know, and I'm curious.

Find someone who climbs or is willing to get started in climbing, and just go for it. I personally just started at end of Jan/beginning of Feb. First time I climbed, I got hooked since.
