    I'm the same way. I love to type and I express myself better through English than ASL. Unless I know the person well and I can trust then I love ASL. So whatever method works well for you its fine. smiles

    Hey New to this board. I was born deaf and raise oral. I wear two hearing aids and can speak well. In high school I started picking up American Sign Language and went to the deaf school. Now I'm at an University using ASL interpreters and I can't imagine my life without ASL now! :-)...
