I learned that what I have thought for a long time is true...life sucks! When can you expect it to get better? I try to think positive thoughts, but sometimes reality just sneaks in.

asl ASL vs. SEE...this is a problem I face. I was taught SEE as a child. the only deaf child in my area. mainstreamed through school with an interpreter. great english skills, but can not communicate with other deaf that use ASL. Which is best????Who knows????

too much rain My garden is drowning....we have had so much rain here that i just finally got the seeds and plants in and then we have had two days of non-stop downpours. Not sure if I will get anything this year.:dunno:

Quite the story..I am torn about the death penalty. I know, an eye for an eye, etc. but this type of treatment of another human being puts society at the same level as the perp.

Hello everyone...I am new to this site. Am a 36 year old deaf male. Am interested in learning how other deaf people get by. I am frustrated with trying to find employment, and dealing with SSI. Any input would be much appreciated!
