    Haha. I had a lisp as a child and was a nanny for twins that used therapy. I know what the system is like and I'm preparing myself to make a difference! And I'm very deaf friendly. My mom was a teacher at the Florida school for the deaf and blind when I was growing up!

    My first ASL test is in the morning and I'm nervous cos my teacher is super cute and I tend to forget things when I'm looking at him. :ohno:

    Hehe. Actually, besides my mom, I met my first deaf friend on that site! She is still my friend today. But I also met lots of creepy old desperate guys. It got intense sometimes.

    rockin' robin is right. You never know who you're meeting! But I used to meet up with lots of people I met on startrek.com (I know, haha) when I was in my TEENS. Thank God nothing bad ever happened and I made some good friends but it could have gone way worse.

    Hi! I just joined this site to get help with ASL. I'm taking it in college towards a degree in speech pathology. My mom taught deaf children when I was little but she didn't teach me much. :( Hoping to meet lots of nice people here!
