My Some Single Gray Hairs...

I have to agree some of you guys that it's not ok to be stress everyday, plus I disagree with some of you that the stress doesn't do any affect to the hairs, it does. Actually not the stress itself that cause the hair changing, it was the person who choose to be stress based on his/her mind which cause his/her immune system go out of control and did weird thing to the body like my brother lost about 1 inch diamenter spot of hairs on his head because his immune system go out of control due to his stress. Also I am not sure if you remember my roommate when I was living in Salem, that woman? She have grey strip hair above her ear and became overweight because she was too stressed with her children.

Anyway, I am not sure if I have any advices, but I hope you get recover from it :)

Dye your hair to cover your gray hair, like it or not. :giggle:

Stress isn't good for you of course. Need to get some peace time like meditation, traveling, taking a nice and hot bath and many more.

Um . . . er . . . I cherish every single gray strand I have left.

It suits you,chase

I only have a few gray hairs..the rest is mixed brown

I'm 24 and I started getting some white hairs at 20 years old... partly of my family genes, partly my diet, and partly on how much acohol cosumed... I have some strands of white hairs and they multiply by few per year... it slowed down after I've been on proper diet and less acohol cosume.... I'm not afraid of it, I embrace it... don't worry :) When I have my hairstyle the way I like it, I would consider dying my hair once in a while. :)

Don't freak out! :) (I have several other friends close to my age having white hairs popping up!)

i started getting gray hairs when i was 24. I believe it was due to me having kids.. now i had 4 kids.. my hairs are getting worse grayer! its no biggie deal to me as its way of life..

be glad you still have your hairs.. least not bald like some women do? :(

Embrace the grey hairs! It's a sign of distinguishness and maturity. :)

Beautifully said!! I was going to say the same thing but in different wording....

Age with grace!! is what I was going to say...

But I am a hyprocrite when I say that cuz I have been highlightening my hair blonde to cover the grey hairs ever since few years ago.

so I guess I should say...

Let's defy age!! :giggle: Heck why not.. when we can. The 40's is the new 20's. How true is that! I don't feel I am 43!! So I might as well make myself look younger while I feel young. But but but... won't go wearing bikinis. Sorry fellas...and hubby who has been wanting me to wear one.

Since Chase showed his picture of himself with his grey strand... I would like to show mine, too. I am not ashamed to show it. I am sure everyone does have their grey strand, too. :)

Hope this does help you feeling better after you see the picture of me. :fingersx:

Of course, I do dye my hair in black when I am in the mood for it. Heh heh

But if you are pregnant or plan to be pregnant I don't recommend pregnant women dye their hair. I was not allow to dye my hair while I was pregnant with my child because the chemical in they dye can affect the pregnancy.

*warn* not push yourself under the light that is too bright so it will run into your hair become gray. :D

My mom started her when she was 18 so I did not started mine when I turned 30. I did dye few times now I gave it up.... mostly gray over my hair!!! I only 37!

Let's see.....if a hot bath does not help you to relax, you could take time out of your day to take a walk, or time to read a book you enjoy. Do you have any hobbies that you enjoy? You could schedule time each day to just work on hobby that you enjoy. I personally do yoga 3 times a week. I wish I had time to do it each day, but I work 2 jobs, and go to school, so my time is limited. Deep breathing exercises are also helpful.

Chatting on AD helps me get away from daily stress and relax, too.

 Me too. That's help a big time. :D

Reading a book I interest, but not during my break at my work. Cos it's so short break. Resting is pretty help me a lot, even warmer milk w/ cinn sugar. :)

Maria...you are beautiful!! no need to dye your hair at all...nothing wrong
with a few gray hairs..i have a few gray hairs myself, not much that it shows
but it will eventually and im not ashamed either.
I think it has a lot to do with our genes..my mother's hair turned gray when
she was in her 20's and my dad's barely got any white hair when he was in
his 80's!...so i dont think stress has anything to do with it, in my opinion.
I dont know, maybe im wrong..heh.

Some theory is vitamin B deficiency can cause early gray hair. Could try to take extra vitamin B.

Wait a minute. You said vitamin B can cause early gray hair, now you tell me to try to take extra vitamin B.

Sorry, I will not take that. ^_^

I think you misunderstood...she meant LACK of vitamin B so you probably
need to take vitamin B. Thats what "deficiency" means. Hope that helps.

LuciaDisturbed - Well, I did! ;) It's fun, isn't it? :D:D

OceanBreeze, SkullChick - Hey! That's so helpful. Thank you!

To ADers who leave a such positive comment:
Thank you so much for cheering me up today. I really appreciative it. :grouphug:
I now dont know what I will say.

I will dye it whenever I have a time.

Heh, true. Now, I feel a little old. >.>

Chase and Maria, thanks for pictures. :)

My brother started getting a few strands of gray hair in his early 20s and he is the most laid back person I have met. I, on the other hand, get stressed more but I just started getting one or two strands of gray hair last year at teh age of 35. I guess it depends on genetic wiring. Go get your hair dyed or shave it. That's the only solution! :)

I think we should create a new thread about stress... It's a lot of negative and positive about stress what and how I learn at 5 week spa at 2 years ago.

There're good and bad stress.

If you enjoy to do something which mean is no stress because you like/love to do it...

If you don't enjoy to do something which mean is stress yourself because you don't like it...

If you think negative things which mean is bad stress.

If you think positive things which mean is good stress.

Yes, a lot of people said that bad stress cause gray hair but other people said it's something do with poor diet to cause gray hair. :dunno2:

I am going to create a new thread about bad and good stress later.

Thanks for created a new theard. I check it out right there. :)
