My home is surrounding by acres of solid ice. :eek3: Driving down the 100 ft driveway is at 5 mph less and slippers. :pissed: Recently, that I have fallen on it and almost broke my elbow and hurt my ass. :ouch: My Rosie's paddock is ice. She will not leave the shed because it is surrounding by ice. :tears:Rosie has not been out in days. It is not supposed to warm up until Sunday. I hate ice and cold weather!:cold::rl:

Oh god, I totally hate ice.

In January of 2001, I was still living in Wisconsin. I had gone outside to say goodbye to a friend who was leaving, and as I walked back into my apartment building, I slipped and fell HARD on the front steps...it was covered in ICE! I hit my tailbone very HARD on the steps! OUCH! I couldn't move for about 30 seconds, and then I was able to get up, but I was in PAIN!

Now my back is damaged, possibly from that incident. I have injured discs at L3-L4 and L4-L5. It causes me a great deal of pain. I was supposed to see my neurosurgeon today but the appointment was cancelled and rescheduled because my neurosurgeon had an emergency. I see him in March.

I TOTALLY HATE ICE. I am so glad I live in Texas now.

Oh shucks that painful.

Glad My husband was alerted me another day ago and doesn't want see me tend slipped on the ice sometimes. Which I'm carry with Logan around my arms and stepped outside but he came and say STOP and DON'T MOVE.. Right there pretty not good insight full of ice stairway. I stunned and not going move at all.. So I gave my son to my husband around his arm as long safer. I grabbed the stairway handle and slow step down the stair and walk up to the driveway. My gosh, My legs really shaking hell lot.

Since I had been obsession past really horrible.. I flew and high slippery flight down the stairway becz of ice!
Good thing, My bones didn't broken but hip went swollen hell black and purple bruise! Barely hard walk like few steps learning! That why, I do not want look forward happened again!

Sorry about you gotten into major hurts due ice!

Sorry...I can imagine you walking out on ice in your slippers and falling on your butt!

:giggle:

Maybe its time to move to a warmer climate?

The ice is not a fun thing to have around. Indeed, it sucks.

Last week, I had my share of getting the "abuse" from the ice.

It was like around 6 am that morning when I was walking out of the door to head to the car to warm it up. Well, What happened was - there was ice everywhere on the concrete steps and sidewalk. It was totally unexpected. I didn't think about it and the next thing I knew, I landed on my butt and my right arm got slammed on the edge of the step. I ended up having a big dark purple bruise on my arm. Ugh, It took me few days for it to be healed completely.

I so cannot wait until the weather becomes warmer.

OOOOHH That got to really suck! Glad your arm is healed.

Oh no. I am sorry for you. I hate ICE! That make me slippery on the ice.
One time, I fell back on the slippery ice when I was going out the restaurant
building Subway. Fortunately, I glad I don't have broken my bones. :)
Stupid bast$%#s subway and outlet store didn't offer salt to melt the f---ing
ice! Also, my aunt was slipped through on the ice from Target that
they not offer a salt for the ice, f--- Target Store because they didn't give
a salt on the entrance outside the building, she got broken her right arm.
Shame on them! :rl: I feel bad for my aunt get screwed. But, gladly,
she is now fine as normal, her doctor fixed her arm bone. :)

Yea I fell on the ice about a month ago and hurt like hell. It was hard for me to go bowling but my average went up. :giggle:

Today my son fell on the ice when we went to pantry today.
