Hi and :welcome: My name is Janine aka pepsiwoman I am 45 and hard of hearing in both ears(use two hearing aids) and I am a lip reader and live in WV.

I'm Chase. I'm an old guy retired in Oregon.

I am totally deaf, can speak and speech-read with amazing accuracy (about 50% on good days), and I use and North American Sign Language (like a 12-year-old my sister, the ASL expert says) and Signed Exact English.

I keep busy researching and writing a novel and editing manuscripts for U.S. publication.

As for me--born in Iowa and no, not somewhere in a cornfield. :lol: Married and presently living in Ohio. Love sports and playing in 'em as well.
