red choclate (?? not sure but it is red cake but tastes like choclate)

My fav cakes....

Pineapple upside down cake - Cheri can make it for me anytime with her great looking recipe posted somewhere here, but not everyday or I might gain the weight back!

Chocolate cake - I have my own variation of this cake that uses no real sugar, uses half whole wheat flour/half soy flour or white flour, a little steaming hot decaf coffee, and has real cocoa, but tastes just chocolatey and yummy!

Does Hostess Ho-Ho count? Too bad we don't have those in Norway!

Strawberry Shortcake - fingerlickin' good... strawberries... cream... mmmmmm

Mine is angelfood cake with smashed strawberries drizzled on top with whipped creme.

I also like sour cream white cake with whipped creme and blueberries on top.

I love a classic carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. Too bad it is banished from my diet. *sob* Liza, do you think you can help me alter the recipe to be diet friendly? :-P

I also love tiramisu, which is probably fattening as well, not to mention that it has rum in it. :-x

cheesecakes are good yep yep but ahh VERY *fattening*!!!

i typically like:

angel food cake topped with sliced strawberries and then topped with either whipped cream or cool whip

devil's food cake topped with homemade frosting

brownies -- homemade the way my mom makes it rocks!! (she typically would make it in the summers to make sort of like hot fudge sundae with the brownies)

and other chocolate variations -- its HARD to resist during PMS week!!

Yes, Fly Free is right about cheesecake, Vampy...

We also love cheesecake.... mmmmhhhhh I often baked cheesecake.
It´s not just cheesecake, but different receipes to add cheesecake... like cherry, blueberries, peach, apple, chocolate.

I love anything to eat cakes. I bake many different cakes with receipes.....

I love mostly is Quark cake... which it´s good for summer time... to cool me down.
Quark = cream cheese with 0% fat. I´ll add it the receipe at Cheri´s thread later.

Actually, cheesecakes are not very fattening. Cheesecakes are one of the good food that can be made for Atkins diets.

i still think its fattening Vampy due to the fat percentage in there (if thats what its called) -- i dont particularly agree with the Atkins diet but yea i know that sort of diet is apparently successful for some ppl -- the diet suggestions in the Atkins diet calls for foods that i dont typically eat ack

Yum...that's one of my favourites -- the Angelfood cake with pureed strawberries drizzled on top.

I also like making chocolate cake, fudge brownies and cookies (peanut butter or anzac cookies.)

My favorite cake actually comes in a different flavor cake and frosting every year. It is my birthday cake. One year, after my mom died, I told him how I missed my childhood birthday cakes from my mom. Since my birthday was usually near Easter, she always made me a three-dimensional "lamb" cake.

Anyway, secretly, my hubby found someone who could make me a lamb cake. Now, every birthday, he gets me the cake. It is still a surprise because each year the cake flavor and frosting flavor are different, and the decoration is different.

The first picture is my 9th birthday and you can see the cake; the others are recent ones from hubby.
