What are you thinking about? Part VIII

Thinking about how rude it was for Bernie's supporters to boo and chant during the DNC prayer.

the dems hold prayer at the convention...?
wow
its getting weirder...

anyway why booo during a prayer if theyre main target should be the one who should not be named??

frankly they should boo and heckle the man who just was the sell out of the century...

Thinking how nice it is that life has finally returned to somewhat normal. I have missed being on AD. Looking forward to our vacation which will for the first time in many, many, many years include all three of our children and their significant others. Our daughter who will be visiting home from Ireland will be here in September. I'm sooooooooo excited.

I, for one, have been missing you and wondering about the fires, etc. in relation to where your place is. I hope your get together with your family turns out wonderful.

I'm not surprised about Bernie Bros.

That remind me of Mario Bros.

Ahhhh, thank you JaneB. Sadly, fires are normal this time of year all over California. It has been HOT 107 degrees most of this week. Fortunately where we live fires are not a threat. We seldom even get smoke from the existing fires. We rented a beach house in Santa Barbara for a week for our family trip. There will be eight of us. It should be an amazing time. I'm hoping for some great family photos.

I seems to me that a good deal of this developed after putting a child seat in the back seat became the "correct" thing to do. I don't remember from when I was that young, which was before the child seats even came along, but what I remember from slightly later childhood on was if there were just two of us sitting in the front seat.

Modern parents would freak out if they knew how we traveled in cars in our childhood, right?

The people in the funnel cake tent need to learn how to funnel the batter better. Rather than long strings of dough, I have large clumps of dough....but I'm still eating it.

As a teen and young adult did you ever put 4 in the backseat? For us it sometimes took alternating sitting forward and back on that seat depending on the size of the individuals in the group.
