Hello~

So I know I've already technically introduced myself, but I kind of want a do-over.

Right now I'm about to finish my ASL 4 class and I will be taking ASL 5, 6, and Advanced Finger Spelling starting sometime in May.

Part of the reason for my redo intro is because I want to express more so that I would like chat with people of similar interests, rather than it just being any random person because they know how to sign.

So, I'll just go ahead and list some of my interests and then we can go from there :D

Interests:
-Video games (I'm a huge video game nerd~)
-Anime/Manga (my nerd-ness also excels here as well)
-Languages (because they're cool)

I feel that sharing similar interests is important, because if you just simply want to chat with someone only because they can sign, I feel that it may not turn out to be a lasting friendship.

So, if you're a fellow nerd - we'll probably get along just fine :D :wave:

I have pretty much everything from an atari to a PS3.

I have the NES, SNES, N64, Sega genesis, Dreamcast, Sega Saturn, PS1, PS2, PS3, Wii, Wii U (loving Smash Bros.), Xbox, Xbox 360, DS, and there's more but you get the idea :)

I do not have the PS4 or the Xbox One as of this moment.

What kind of games do you like to play?
 
PS4, all Call of Duty series, and I often rent PS4 games, currently I'm playing The Order 1886, their graphics and storyline are AWESOME! I'm enjoying it so far.

Hurray for nerd-ness :D lol.

For animes, I like romance/comedy. Some series that I'm watching right now are:

-Nisekoi 2nd season (LOVE this series)
-My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU 2nd season
-Baby Steps 2

I have many more in my list that I want to watch but you get the idea :D

As for games...right now I'm playing through Mega Man X and it's my goal to play through the Mega Man's and beat them. Another game I started playing recently is Luigi's Mansion (knew about it, but never owned it and played it till recently). I feel like playing a lot of things right now, but if I play too many games I may get side-tracked and not finish the others lol.

Would you say that the Call of Duty series have been improving or just have been kind of copy and pasted? The last Call of Duty I played was Black Ops and I didn't play much of the other ones previous or after that, so I'm just kind of curious what people think.

I'm somewhat behind when it comes to the PS4/Xbox One games, since I don't own them. One that I was curious as to how it turned out was that Final Fantasy game. Have you tried that one out yet? (Also, that Order game looks like it'd be interesting).

Shh FF is a tightly held secret for me lol I love them...
Typo-0 was okay, not their best but not the worst. Story line was ... Meh, could have been a lot better the conversion did it little favor... Battle and challenge was there and decent but was disappointed in it. May show my age but 2, 5, and 7 are still my favorites...
Why remake 7? I loved it as it is

Lol. Aw...I'm pretty big on story line too. Good to hear that there's a challenge in it.

Don't get me wrong, I love 7. But I think considering that, I think if they would apply modern graphics to Final Fantasy 7 it would look gorgeous. Though I wouldn't want them to change the story line or anything like that. Plus, I'm sure many people would be willing to buy the game again on that fact alone.

I can understand that, but I would rather they invest the money into ensuring the ff series does not decline. Some of their more recent ones I did not care for much because they are slipping. FF 7 was cool though wasn't lol sad to think when it came out I was awed over the graphics lol now...smh ah well such is the nature of it :D.

Good point. Lol, yeah it's kind of like "Wow, BEST GRAPHICS EVAR" and then you see the stuff they're doing now and it's like "...it was good for it's time" haha.

What other games do you like?
 
Well it has been a long time. I stopped gaming when my daughter passed. But cannot say no to FF lol played halo and modern warfare on Xbox ... Hmm legend of dragoon on PlayStation haha took you back to ps1 ...hmm think I am showing age again lol went to some mmorpgs for awhile. Right now I am down to one game and it does not count but I play it to be with my children...lol clash of clans...sad I know but shh I will not tell if you do not. Mmm I am forgetting some....

Sorry to hear about that :/ Never really got into the Halo series (though I do own 1 and 2 lol). Not because I don't like it or anything, just haven't tried it much. I really like the Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U.

Legend of Dragoon is not one I've played, but the name sounds familiar. There's so many games I want to try playing lol. I've had a tendency to pick up and play a lot of games without actually finishing them, but trying to fix that bad habit, haha.

LoD is an OLD game help you out it came in a cassette like a CD... Yeah old lol but the story line and challenge kicked rear...
Oh...there was one with a gargoyle who losses his wings I forget the name...but that one was interesting... I confess to never playing Wii u ... Had a Wii for the kids but they stopped playing outside so got rid of it. Shh i liked mario cart lol I loved halo and modern warfare for the group play option ... Very bad habit :p. Go back and finish them...ah lol that reminds me... Mortal kombat x ...

Honestly, I had no intention ever to purchase the Wii U, but the main reason ended up getting it was because of Smash Bros. The game makes it totally worth it. (Plus if you enjoyed the Mario Kart of the Wii, then the one on the Wii U you'd probably find super enjoyable - was really fun playing online). Nothing wrong with liking Mario Kart :P

Speaking of Mario, I'm extremely disappointed with the Mario Party 10 that they came out with recently...that has to be the worst one they've released yet (thankfully I only rented it, because I would not be very happy if I payed $50 or so for that).

I prefer Street Fighter over Mortal Kombat, but that's just me :P even got the cool arcade stick for Street Fighter (figured it'd be much harder with a joystick, but I actually prefer that now) but playing online is a killer...

Lol - for the PS3, but as of this moment I think the disc drive is messed up...was debating about eventually buying a replacement disc drive, but hadn't gotten around to it yet or even seeing if it's worth it. Not sure how it is with Mortal Kombat, but I definitely know it's super competitive online on Street Fighter...

By the way, I didn't realize this till now but I noticed you're from Georgia. I lived there from 2008-2014 basically :D so, I thought that was cool :wave:
 
Hmm have not played online with it. In truth tinkered with it a bit. Have not gone online with it. They belong to my roommate and I will jump in every now and then... FF I had to beat just because ...well its FF need I say more :D
Nice where about in GA?
