I am definitely an 80s girl....

I love Duran Duran, vintage Madonna, Prince, and other 80s group.

Movies I love...Flashdance, The Lost Boys, Less Than Zero, Die Hard, The Goonies, Weird Science, Risky Business, and many more

Love the Converse shoes, the Aqua Net hairspray, pins in the jeans, acid washed jeans, big 80s hair

Chevy Cameros are beautiful to me

probably 90's or late 80's

Hmmmm 90's I think, that's probably where my tastes really solidified. I was 15-25 in the 90's, though 94-97 is kind of blurry :laugh2: I was 19-22 then, spent a lot of that time drunk or stoned lol. Great music in the 90's though, yep yep yep!!!

mid 80s to mid 90s. That was an awesome transitional period, had the teased hair, tight jeans then relaxed hair and bell bottom pants. Crazy time!

HONADA XR200 or XR250 was very fashionable, as does the pure motocrossers CR125s or KX125...car-wise, Ferrari 308s or Porsche 911s are beautiful to me

and then there was Honda VT250 ( i had one)...GSX-R 750s RG400-500s TZR250, NSR250, RGV250 (that was coming in at late 80s -early 90s)...VFR750 (Superbike version)

hair wise mine was long at back...had boring miami vice-wanna be nightclub jackets...jeans i just wore tapered, pleated jeans too

LOL
oh Blue Mondays (New order)...the Cars (Magic, Drive, you might think, Hello Again.)

tears for fears, everybody wants to rule the world,,,,,,,,,,,,
etc etc

Devo...early 80s , the police early 80s...

Although I was a very small child then, the sixties are for me.
Batman, Star Trek, Incredible Edibles.

As for clothing, striped t shirts , elastic waist corduroy pants, and until aged eight or so, high top corrective shoes exactly like the old white baby shoes. And haircut like John John Kennedy. (Despite all this, I was a charming child. :P )

Books of Alfred Hitchcocks Three Investigators, Saturday lunches in a downtown tea room. Those are days we won't see again.,

90's ALL the way! =P I still listen to more music from the 90's than I do current music! It always brings back the memories... =D And when I say I love and listen to 90's music... This ABSOLUTELY includes blasting the Backstreet Boys and NSYNC from my car as loudly as possible and dancing and singing to it... HA! Watch out Tampa Bay! =P

Can we pick different decades? From different centuries?

If so, my second choice would have been the year 1453 (I was really torn between that and 74 BC in Rome, but I don't think I would have enjoyed being a peasant during the Cotta Consulship. Perhaps a distinguished member of a plebian family would have been better).

I picked 1453, and the location would have been one of the islands in what is now known as French Polynesia. I would have liked to have been a pearl diver. The thought of having to type a research paper for next week's due date would never cross my mind. I wouldn't have been staring at a computer screen trying to decipher the latest political pandering coming out of Washington and reading the typical left/right wing comments under the article on CNN.

The thoughts that would occupy my mind would be "Will I have caught enough fish today to feed my family?" or, "This pearl will be enough to purchase some more tiki wood that I can use as a cross beam to support a room expansion in my hut ... I'm rich!!!" or, "My neighbor thinks he is such a hot shot with that new fancy schmancy canoe his family built! ... I'll show him! I'll find enough pearls so I can afford to build a bigger one!"

My day would consist of diving in crystal clear Pacific Ocean water looking for oysters to slice open for those shiny black pearls (and also ... fishing).

I wouldn't have to worry about the let -down that the SyFy channel is waiting until next year to continue "Defiance". I wouldn't have to worry about the potential of an economic meltdown of global proportions and wondering if Chicago is going to be the next bankrupt city in the U.S.

Instead, I would be busy making traditional gourd masks to ward off evil spirits. I would be planning the next communal/tribal dance with surrounding families, which even includes that brother in law that is always asking to borrow my tools. I would be anticipating the arrival of my dearly departed ancestors from the land of the dead. I wouldn't be worrying about balancing my check book or if the oil needs to be changed in my car.

If a bad tempest blew my hut over .. simple ... I would shake my fist at the sky and blame an angry spirit, and quickly rebuild it with the help of my neighbors. Not file an insurance claim and haggle with a representative.

I would only be sweating the small stuff :giggle:

I had a black Camaro when I was married that thing would fly. Had a built 350/350 turbo in it and it was my "baby" till my exwife made me get rid of it :(

what year .model was it?

Lol oh no I am unsure because I was too small and haven't party in 1970s but great memories. My older three sisters took me to hang out with their friends. I was very observing like my memory was recording every minutes of 1970s I really like 70s like it was mixed up and down emotions and cool but I lived in a crazily world with late 80s. unfortunately my memory was not crystal of what I was doing but in a wild time I admit 80s fashion was u g l y. I know and I went for it . I don't know why I liked 70s musica even though I don't understand words but feeling the vibration than 80s. I'm a confused girl. Hahah

1970s and 1980s.

My Dad had a red 1977 Chevy Impala Wagon. My Grandpa had a brown 1979 Cherokee S 4 door. When I was growing up, I had always thought it was the Chief model, but I've learned as I got older that Jeep didn't make any 1979 Chief 4 doors.

I was so stroked when my Grandpa got a brand new 1988 Grand Wagoneer. It had the 2wd/4wd switch. I wanted to play with it. Grandpa wouldn't let me.

Back in 1993-1994, I got to learn to drive shift stick in my Grandpa's 1971 Datsun 240Z.

Autocorrect on my tablet...I didn't notice until today.

My ex hubby had one.

How about those Firebirds? Were they from a separate manufactor?

Both GM but Camaro = Chevy and Firebird = Pontiac.
