I want a Big Mac

I used to frequent them up until about 10 years ago, when something changed, and now I can't tolerate pre-processed burgers like McD's and BK's.

When you grill a burger at home, notice how the burgers fall apart easily? Compare that to the burgers from McD's and BK's. You can take their burgers and throw them across the room and they will still be intact.

Wendy's burgers are more tolerable, as their burgers are more "real" than the others.

I haven't eat McD or any food chains since several years ago, reason? PINK SLIME, and not healthy food.

I'm glad SF have very few McD (most on tourist areas) and plenty of LOCAL restaurants, including DEAF OWNED restaurant "Mozzeria" :cool2:
 
I have to say that every few years I give in to a Big Mac. My daughters like to remind me that a Big Mac is equivalent to drinking a 1/4 of oil. That kind of grosses me out, but I still induldge every now and then. Now I am hungry, but will be eating an Asian Chicken salad from Panera. They have great food!!!

I only get from McDonald's is... refresh soda, that it. :lol:

Every few years? You have good self-control. I try not to eat too much fast food so that I won't gain extra weight. There are so many calories in a Big Mac, I think with the fries and soda it's a whole day's worth of calories. So I always order a diet soda with my Mac and fries.. :giggle:

Yea, I like fast food..only when Im craving and starvin for it.. I like home cooking a lot more. I just mentioned a whopper in the other thread...yummy! I used to eat fast food everyday(almost) when I mowed grass for a living...ever heard Fuddruckers? they got some burgers and on weekends it was beer time.. I didnt gain a pound. Today is a different story..lol

I do love fast food, but I realize it is not good for me. I substitute as best I can making my own fat free versions. However, you have to live a little. It's the holiday weekend, if you want a Big Mac get one. Just go back on your plan the next day.

You will reach your goal...

We almost lived in Fuddruckers back when I was very little. Then most of the ones in Ontario closed and that was it. My parents were crushed :(

I might have a Big Mac on occasion but I have cut down a lot compared to when I was younger, thinner and more active. When I was a student I cycled everywhere. Now I drive, my job is sitting at a desk all day, and a lot of people in my office have piled on the pounds since starting. So, eat less yummy junk, drink less, become boring.

No Wendy's in the UK any more, so tend's to be McDonald's as I find that Whoppers tend to leave a bad taste in my mouth for the rest of the day.
 
20 piece mcnuggets, large fries, large soda (On the days that I can block how and what mcnuggets are made from out of my mind.. doesn't happen often [one word: slurry])

i just buy cold cooked chichen quarter (yes actuall roast chicken) for $3 (about your $2) and peel of the roasted skin , tear aparat make a sandwich, with it, priceless! bloody beautiful to eat. (sorry vegans i just cant, id die of starvation), we CAME from teh hunters history...dammit.....and oh i only do this once a week , not even that, and i dont ven cook meat at home, so as you can see i eat little meat, this bit it just for sanity and actual nutrietment I needed or id get sick

When I was 16, I would happily go to McD's with my mom and get a Big Mac Meal and a second Big Mac on its own to go with it. Last time I tried that I felt very, very stuffed and sick.

Likewise, my other half reminds me that when we first started going out we would eat a large Domino's pizza each in one sitting. Now we have half of just one pizza each and struggle with the last slice.

Neither does any other state. Whataburges is strictly Texas, started in Corpus Christi and covers the state. In-and-Out and Carl's came to Texas and are getting their tails whipped.
 
<--- dislikes some of the items at a Whataburger! :( They gave me a flat hamburger as a pancake. Terrible. Breakfast meal is not bad.
