What did you do today? Part II

She will be just next door. The new house is a garage conversion on her 2nd lot. Father-in-law had a huge 3 bay and lots of storage area garage. It is 1344 square feet. Got the final confirmation that the loan is approved and the County did separate the lots. We also have been approved for the permit we were waiting on and we should have it within 2 weeks. If all goes as planned and told to us, we can start construction in 3-4 weeks.
Can you add a moat around it?

TCS and I stood a Flag line at the funeral home with Patriot Guard Riders. The funeral was for a local Navy veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars.

I play NHL game with nephews on xbox kinect. Fun! Then baby nephew age 1 climb on table, I not see he jump to me. His head smash my mouth...I bite through my bottom lip, and reflex, I flail arm out, hit his forehead my cast. He cry so hard! Bad Auntie. He look me, say "bad boy" (mean me). Feel so bad! We both look rough now.

wtf? it's extraordinary stupid of any boss busting anybody's chop for txting or even chatting in IM. As long as you are getting job done... everybody's happy! That's why I get to put my feet on table, nap in my office, have 1-2 hrs lunch, or work at home if needed.

your boss needs to watch this on how to be a boss - Jason Fried: Why work doesn't happen at work | Video on TED.com

Wow! The way you make it sound I almost want to get a job. :)

I went to my cousins football game this morning. He's the star quarterback and is developing quite the reputation for himself. They played their rival team, and all three teams won (Freshman, JV, and Varsity).

Then I went to work for about 2 hours and felt like I got hit by a Mack truck. My whole body was/is aching, and I was shivering non stop because I was in so much pain. I just woke up a little bit ago, and my husband made me a little dinner and I'm feeling slightly better. At least I'm not shivering now. It feels like getting the flu, which would really be sh*tty because I have tests on Monday. Hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow.

Somehow I missed the part where you got a cast. :hmm:

So far today I've woken up with a slight hangover. Just a little one. Went to deaf club last night for 5 hours had so much fun and drank just a little too much. It was worth it, though!

Glad you had fun and hope you feel better!

Today, I am just going to rest. I had a very very busy weekend last weekend so taking the time to rest. Cant wait until Thanksgiving break!

Evacuated with the masses at the start of Mass when the fire alarm at church went off. Seems to have been an electrical fire issue but did not spread. Once the firemen gave the all clear we moved Mass to the school gym which is next door.
It was my daughter's fault because we usually go to the later Mass but she needed to go to the earlier one. The alarm went off about 2 mins after she got there.
Luckily the weather was relatively nice.

Have been to Deaf church, was rushed out with no socializing by the people I give a ride to (gripe), came home, fixed lunch and I have just finished posting the lesson on the church's FB page.

Gym from 5 to 6 AM, got dressed, went to work, and now I am at home waiting for my hubby to get home so we can go shopping for our son's new shoes.

Wirelessly posted

Sitting on a picnic table in densely wooded part of my local park and it's after dark. I'm alone, too. That calls for a disaster but I needed to get away to think, be alone.

Visited with my father in law. They are stopping all therapy and just having hospice in the next day or two.

He said he is ok with it and ready to go. Last week he was sitting in a chair and happy about a specially engineered shoe that let him stand up and walk with a walker. He has not been able to walk for many years.

Today he was in bed, and barely looked conscious. I was very frightened.

A nurse came with her Saint Bernard who is a therapy dog, and my dogs got to meet him. They were very well behaved and everyone in the facility likes my dogs.

Sorry to hear that his time is near. I'll say a prayer for your family.
