I am wondering what Mediteranean cultures eat live calamari.

and Asia. my dad has and he loves it especially live octopus. not surprising since he grew up in a fisherman town

I had a weird .... very weird dream. I have NEVER heard the word "calamari" before, and even if I had, I wouldn't know what it was (until today when I looked it up). Let me explain what prompted the question.

In my dream, I was having a sit-down meeting in an extravagant hotel living room. I remember feeling very fearful, because the members in the meeting were from a very powerful crime family. I was scared to be in their company.

Anyways, I was able to understand what was being stated (they were not speaking, but somehow, I was able to understand them). Apparently, they wanted to expose a very corrupt judge, but they needed my help.

I did not want to help them, because they were a crime family, and I assumed, did much worse things than the judge ever did. They knew this about me ... somehow. One of the men in the meeting was friggin huge, he was a hitman. I knew (in my dream of course) that he had killed many people, and he was sitting in the meeting to somehow intimidate me into cooperating.

During this meeting, I was handed a large bowl of rice, then these long tentacles were placed on the rice, and they were still squirming. It was .... :barf: me out big time. I asked if I was supposed to eat them when they stopped squirming ... I was then told "It is live calamari, food from our culture ... enjoy it".

Well, in the dream, I never got around to eating it ... as much as I really wanted to :roll:

In any case, the meeting continued, and I came to find out that this particular crime family had a very high regard for innocent people, and felt compelled to protect them ... especially when it concerned corrupt judges.

What was particularly weird was I was told this in my dream "We can guarantee your safety and will protect you ... but when you wake up, you will not remember any of this".

But I did remember .... and went to look up the word "calamari" on google and was like WTF??!!!

Cuz I didn't even know what it was
 
calamari is a squid.

squirming tentacles - it's a great delicacy.
 
Slept pretty well. A/C for the night was set at 76 and we had a fan in the bedroom. In the car, I had the A/C on high, but it was 93-97 outside. I also took my 64 ounce mug with me that had water with lemon in it. Very refreshing. So far, I am feeling fine, but we will see about later.

MIL is beginning to get a little excited about our construction. We pick up the final survey tomorrow afternoon. It had to be an aerial survey and also show where all the wells and septic tanks are for all the surrounding lots. Once we get that and the Town Hall approves, then we get the loan and get started.
 
How much I'm enjoying this really nice weather for a change! Temps and humidity have come way down. But by the weekend we are supposed to be back to 100 again. Erk!!
 
Thinking about the construction on my apartment balcony and wishing that it would end already. It's intrusive. :pissed:
 
Now, I am thinking my chicken is beginning to smell real good!!
 
I think so might to fix on issues tough! I think so might to figure out complication I try wish be fast to firefox!
 
I am pretty lots of development to my minds challenge!
 
I am thinking of the choreography I did for some songs for Zumba :)
 
Thinking that I can't believe I have and am still doing all these home projects. The bathroom has been the hardest one so far with gutting everything out. Geez the toilet had a battle with my hubby for 4 hours last night until 1 am. Lol
 
I'm excited I found LOTS of cool stuff for my kids to do starting tomorrow through Saturday night, and I only have to spend a total of $8!

Free 3-D movie, cheap play park with swimming, free snake show at a wildflower center with free admission to see all kinds of wildflowers; another free movie; free craft activity at a craft store; and cheap outdoors movie while in the pool at dusk ...three days worth of fun - only spending $8. Isn't that cool or what?
 
I rid the 500 internal server htacces crap! screw up my computer mess too many on my sites :D :lol:
