Palin's EPIC FAIL!

Do you know how childish that sounds?

For past several weeks - nothing seems to get into kokonut's head. Perhaps I have to act like kokonut to get the message into his head. :dunno:

Mind you - I don't enjoy this any one bit but if it's what it takes to get the message to him, so be it.

Or it can goad him into going too far and end up getting banned. Is that what you want?

banned? how? I merely made a poor joke at the picture.

beside - I'm not responsible for his rampage postings that may result in getting himself banned.

Don't worry, dreama. The main thing is try and stick to the topic at hand. Not an impossible thing to do. But I find it fascinating how people continue to attack Palin as if she is some sort of threat. They deny they're not feeling threatened by her but they still attack her which only raise the question even more. And the more they attack her the more visible she becomes, the more money she'll make. She's learning to capitalize on that very quickly. She is indeed striking while the iron is still white hot. Amazon's pre-order book sales show that.

You might need someone to help you remove Kokonut's head from his ass first before you can get into his head because it's so far up his ass. :laugh2:

I know I've been going a little off topic in the other thread but it really bothers me when people keep going on about Sarah Palin's animal rights record. So I had to put them straight on that issue.

Yes it is isn't it. She certainly has her fans. Pity her book isn't in braille.

I wouldnt buy her book nor pay for any of her speeches.

A major 'mover and shaker'? please...give mea break...the parties over....this is pure pop culture hollywood entertainment....Oprah type bunk as I explained.
you're playing silly games again.

Kind of funny how a reputed "poliltical lightweight" is given all of the serious consideration of her by way of attacking her as if she was still running for president.

She's not. She's making money, though. She's not playing as a two-bit wannabe actor but as major mover and shaker on a national stage. The ironic thing? The media keep giving her free advertisments and greater recognizance than ever before. How will that translate by the time 2010 and 2012 elections come around?

Of course, we have morons who actually thought she was done for and that her career was over and put to the gutter. That $100,000 speaking engagement fee for a crowd of over 1000 (that's like a mere $80 to $120 a pop) can be done easily (this was overseas!) then expect more of her speaking engagement to kick into high gear later on. Be careful on writing her off so soon. The initial 1.5 million books of her new book "Going Rogue" on record breaking pre-order sales tell the bigger story on just how popular she is. The media, ironically, is giving her all the exposure she needs.....for free. And that translate into more money, more requests, and more visability.

Don't stop.

Sarah Palin? *yawn*

I have better things to do with my time.

Meanwhile, Palin continues to reap in the money. And Obama continues to fail epically due to cluelessness. From the Gray Lady herself making a scathing article against Obama and the Olympics result. You know things are going bad if your own lapdog media such as the New York Times attacks you.

Losing out on the Olympics, of course, is not the sort of war-and-peace issue that defines a presidency, and the embarrassment will presumably fade in a news cycle or two. But it provides fodder for critics who are already using it as a metaphor for a president who, in their view, focuses on the wrong priorities and overestimates his capacity to persuade the world to follow his lead. …

A sense of stunned bewilderment suffused Air Force One and the White House. Only after the defeat did many advisers ask questions about the byzantine politics of the Olympic committee. Valerie Jarrett, the president’s senior adviser and a Chicago booster who persuaded him to make the trip while at the United Nations last week, had repeatedly compared the contest to the Iowa caucuses.

But officials said the administration did not independently verify Chicago’s chances, relying instead on the Chicago 2016 committee assertions that the city had enough support to finish in the top two. Mr. Obama, Michelle Obama, Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. and Ms. Jarrett worked the phones in recent weeks without coming away with a sense of how behind Chicago really was.

A truly epic fail on Obama's part not to mention just how big his head is for this administration. What are the odds that Palin will use this in upcoming speaking engagements using Obama's failure as a microcosm example of how things work inside the WH?

I can see Palin smiling at this opportunity.

:)

Boy, is that the pot calling the kettle black. Practice what you preach.

WASHINGTON (CNN) — The man who ran John McCain's presidential campaign warned Friday that Sarah Palin could lead to a 'catastrophic' election result for the GOP in 2012 if the former Alaska governor captures the party's presidential nomination.

"I think that she has talents," Steve Schmidt, the former campaign manager of McCain's failed presidential bid, told CNN's John King. "But my honest view is that she would not be a winning candidate for the Republican Party in 2012, and in fact, were she the nominee, we could have a catastrophic election result."

The comments came during The Atlantic Magazine's First Draft of History Conferece, held at the Newseum in Washington, DC.

"I don't think it's inconceivable that she could be the Republican nominee for President of the United States," added Schmidt — who, among others in the McCain campaign, butted heads behind the scenes with Palin in the weeks leading up to Election Day. "I do think it's fairly inconceivable that she could be elected President of the United States."

Looking ahead to Palin's upcoming book — entitled "Going Rogue" — Schmidt predicted he would be portrayed as "anti-rogue in the running of the campaign."

Well, she is laughing all the way to bank and people just don't see that. The more they attack her the more she's going to be worth. And now just found out that her husband, Todd, just quit his job. He can afford to now, literally.

Oh, yeah! That is something to brag about. A man taking advantage of a woman's 15 minutes of fame, and living off her profits. Why doesn't it surprise me that you would admire this type of behavior?

What is it with you and money? Do you find it to be an aphrodesiac, or is it just a matter of vicarious living for you?
