Just your thoughts and opinion on things.

I want legally blind people taught braille as soon as possible, and i want braille sold at barnes and noble, as well as half priced books!

there isn't enough braille period. for example, there is no braille signage on businesses, bus stops or even braille documentation (i.e. instructions for popular household products). there needs to be an increase in the availability of braille so legally blind people have the same access to print as their sighted counterparts.

ah gotcha. then I shall join your cause! :cool2:

I agree 100%.

I am not sure it's becoming a lost of art, but I do read about parents being too tired to cook, so they buy out or boxed dinners.

I think things are different today because moms are now working. This is my opinion, but I think being a stay at home mom has a reason for the family. Even if it is part-time SAHM (stay at hom mom) like work while they are in school just so moms are not too tired to make dinner.

I sometimes question whether most couples really need to work on two incomes or is it because the couple don't want to give up their lifestyle of more expensive things that requires two incomes. Just a thought.

Some moms prepare food for the week by freezing things, and then cooking them that week. I think it requires a change of prioritites.

Just a thought and opinion. I am not bashing working moms.

I have no issues cooking a meal from scratch in half an hour or so. I think the idea that there isn't enough time in the day can be easily solved by finding recipes that just don't take very long to make.

...or not having their children involved in so many extra-curricular activities, imo.

I agree and I also want to see the ASL to be widespread as well. You know Hablas Espanol signage? Well I want to see "staff know ASL" signage.

I am a working mom, because it takes two to just survive. Keeping our mortgage and taxes paid. Not for luxury.

They're a lot of quick and easy meals. Fresh veggies and meats, that can be prepared in less time than a box dinner.

Baked chicken breast with rice and fresh steamed broccoli with cheese can be made in around 30 min to 45 min.

Since oil prices dropped. The food prices should as well. Due they claim to raise it because of the high gas prices.

My thought is, how can activists have any remorse for the Hamas (Palestinian) militants, while it is they who start their own crisis by launching rockets into Israel? Sure, I feel for the Palestinian cvivilian population who are caught in the middle of Israeli counter-strikes, but they have a responsibility to keep tabs of their own trouble makers.

I think fried chicken should be outlawed *my family loves it so we eat it a lot, but i hate it!*

I also think that the bus needs to make a stop like right down the street.

exactly. oh well.

i agree. i think bus stops should be located in a 3 block radius. in the neighborhood where i live, i need to walk 8 blocks and cross a busy 4-lane highway to reach the nearest bus stop.

If you call in advance, could the bus pick you up right in front of your homes? I know we have certain transits in our area, that picks up anyone that is in need at their homes.
