List what you have high-tech toys..... Computer doesn't count, unless, it's really tiny.

• Canon SD400 digital camera
• iPod Touch 2G (8gb)
• USB Flash drives (keychain) 1GB & 256MB
• Nintendo DS (phat model)
 
I have too many Hi-Tech in my home...:eek3:
1. 7 PCs(2 gaming PCs and 5 offiice PCs)
2. IPhone
3. Nintendo Gamecube, Wii, and DS
4. Original X-Box and X-Box 360
5. Playstation 2 Slim
6. 3 HDTV(2 LCD and 1 DLP)
7. 2 DVD Players
 
at&t 8525 phone
1 gb usb flash drive, 1 gb sd memory card,
1 gb micro sd mem card, a old digital camera i dont use (it was given by my parents)

thats all I have.
 
Oh yeah, I have Palm Centro. Silly me.

But.. don't post about computer, damnit.

Is DVD players still considered high tech? :giggle: Can buy them now for 30 bucks. :cool2:

Blue-Ray will be outdated next few years. FYI.

I have:

5 PC, 1 laptop (all working, 3 fast one, 2 slow with Linux)
PS2 slim gaming console with Wireless controllers
pair of Flashdrives
Ojo and VP200
Canon 8mp camera
Sandisk Sansa view 8gb PMP
Blackberrys (still counts as PMP to watch movies ect)

Actually, pretty much anything they put out on the market is already obsolete since they already have advanced the technology in their labs.

Still too expensive but however, there is new digital movies to download or stream instead waste format on shelf. *shurg*

Not many downloadable movies are CC support, even not many stream movies have CC either.

BD is great for HD viewing, both of downloadable and stream movies don't support full 1080p due too much bandwidth.

Remember, DVD was expensive in mid and late 90's, BD is cheaper than in 2006.

I wouldn't fall for Blue Ray tho. I would rather something that don't get scratched on surface!!! I sure hope I would see many flash drives movies lined up on shelf at Blockbuster or mailed through Netflix. Giving you an idea that you can drop it in your pocket instead of carrying fragile DVD or BlueRay disk. Because more and more Portable Media Players (including Cell Phones such as Treo, Blackberry and any phones that have built in media player) and pc are using flashdrives for anything and it's effecient and weight almost nuthing. Some can just plug in USB or insert it in media slot and enjoy the show. Remmy the "Netbook <Not Notebook>" Thread, They don't have DVD drive at all and is becoming popular options for kids and business user to carry.

I sure hope that would happen in the future. All DVD, BlueRay and CDs would end up crushed into a recycable "box" just like you saw one on "Back to Future" movie. :rofl:
