interesting, even tho, I have my own 2 daughters. but my partner doesn't have a child of his own. we have been talking about surrogate mom for him to have a child. hope it will pass in this issues. oklahomo is very prejudice and brainwashed people the view of gay couples and claiming how dangerous that be for gay couples do to children.

Interesting!!! I saw on Baby Story on TLC one time...there were a gay men that had a baby girl by surrogates mom. I am happy for them!

My gay friend (with his bf of 14 years) had a biological son through surrogacy. His son is very lucky as he is born into a wealthy couple with a beautiful home on the top of the hill, have exceptional schools, and a strong family support.

Of course it has to happen in LA where the gay millionaires are.

I think that's great! :)

My friend whom I was talking about does not live in LA, he lives in Austin, TX. Unlike other Texan cities, Austin has local laws that prohibit discrimination against gays.

But I do know some gay couples with kids in LA though and of course, they have money.

Austin need to rethink that law again. No offense. Sorry, I just grew up in the small town. My town are pretty strong christian belief. Lot of people that are against gay marriage here...there...over there. Austin has been against the gay marriage. Sorry.....I don't support the gay marriage.

And in this proper thread, that sound like playing with God. No offense, again.

Not true, Austin has been changed alot and don't speaking out around here because you don't accept me, Animal Lover, christlovedeaf, netrox and other AD members. I have tell you that I refuse to change my way after you request that.

Austin has rights to set on local law to prevent from discrimination against homosexual, that their choice but not for you, also Austin is more liberal than other many cities in Texas and get accept that. I don't care about Christian belief, look... christlovedeaf is christian but he's gay, that his choice since not in big debate like muslim does. If you want Austin to remove the law then most private workplace like Wal-Mart, Target, Best Buy, Circuit City and other companies have policies to protect from discrimination, that more than in Austin. You will get terminate or write up for act like that at Wal-Mart, that where I work here and my boss already know.

Texas is under bible belt except for farther southwest Texas and between US-Mexican border since they are totally different story but Austin is define that cannot or can be under bible belt since some people don't think so, though.

FYI, between on gay marriage and gay are different on discrimination, such as several co-workers are gay but not interesting in gay marriage but they love to doing on lifestyle in gay world, without marriage. For me, I'm not interesting in gay marriage but want full rights for us to get fair on public area, like social with other men, such as my boyfriend. Austin has nothing with gay marriage but they have local law to protect on discrimination for companies, that same as protect from discrimination against on deaf people too.

Yup, Miami-Dade County have same law but it's county law to protect gay people from discrimination, also I had know that LA has same one too but company's policies are number one and enforce for co-workers.

No matter either gays/lesbians or not...

I noticed a lot of gays prefer to adopt the babies/children from poor countries over surrogacy thru medias, magazines, public etc. It's okay with German law because the children from poor countries need good home... See a good example of Jolie Angelica and Brad Pritt. They adopted 3rd baby few weeks ago. Some gays get sperm from sperm bank to make a baby together... I remember 2 lesbians from TV that they want their own baby so they get sperm from sperm bank to make a baby together. They are proud parent of baby girl.

No matter either you are millionaires or not, but it's nice to give babies/children from poor countries good and loving home. IMO.

Austin NEVER voted for anti-gay marrige amendement (in fact, it's the only Texan city that voted against anti-gay marriage amendment).

I don't know what your problem is. Just stay in that small town and you'd have no problem.

I don't have that fucking problem! I just don't support them! You can't make me stay in the town. I live in Austin for college. Get back to the damn thread.

Never? I don't know if you're live in Texas. A few years ago, I heard there were talked about vote on no gay marriage.

Pacman, you're hardhead not to belief about God or christians but you're right Austin is very strong liberal and democracy. That's why Austin's motto, "Keep Austin Weird." lol

APD (Austin Police Department) gets paid pretty good. Cause lot of people in Austin doesn't like the cops. That's what I've heard.

Excuse me, don't call this word on me, I said many kind of Christians have different belief, as called conservative, liberal, catholic, mormon, baptist and even more, that does nothing with Austin. Again, I'm atheism and don't give everything on religion, that my choice, means all religions, muslim, christianity, jew, hindu or whatever then don't call me an hardhead, that my rights to do.

Look at San Antonio, that much different from other several Texan cities but Hispanic are expected to become majority (50%) in after 2030, before goes happen in California but Hawaii is number 1 (counted in minority). I think it will be alot of different culture and religions but same religions and different part is catholic. I bet that alot of change are goes on, like Dallas and Houston have more Hispanic now.

Again, don't call hardhead to me about not believe in everything then you need respect to members that who aren't believe in religion, that my business.
