Thumbs down Halloween Restored isn't closed captioning on tv

I bought Halloween Restored at Target and checked on back of DVD and it said CC logo on it then tried to play on DVD player (Mac), Media Center (Win), Media Player (Win) on computer and Xbox 360 via composite cable then CC isn't displayed on tv.

That's same happen with Death Row, both of Halloween and Death Row are from Starz Entertainment since Halloween has restored from old picture in 1978.

Now, I wouldn't buy any movies from Starz again, not anymore.

That's false advertising, and it takes the money of those who rely on CC for enjoyment of the film. Report it. And definatley take the DVD back for a refund.

I don't know about that but the 25th anniversary edition of Halloween is 100% captioned including the special features except for the radio ads.

If DVD is opened then can't return to store for refund.

Doesn't matter, if it's captioned as labelled on the packaging... they have to take it back. If not, then contact the distributor and they should be able to send you a replacement disc with CC on it.

Banjo, if not solved, contact to Boltz for getting a settlement.

Pacman, don't throw it away, you need prove it to Boltz for getting a settlement. Remember, Boltz showing about Warner Bros., MGM, Tri-Star,
Buena Vista, and Universal Studios, they agree with Boltz for requiring
most DVD with bonus material would be closed-captioned or subtitled
except Warner Bros has old movies doesn't need to be subtitled on bonus
material.
