Media Center Edition 2005 with CC

Hi Guys,

I bought Media Center Edition 2005 (MCE2005) and I own buld it
MCE2005 have limit CC. it don't have black background - no soild
also 3 line message on midden little bottom, I want full bottom
but my TV is perfect cc, I want MCE2005 is off CC. TV is on, it is not working GRRRR i know they don't have Analog but only Digital

which CC requires Video or Audio cable?

or any MCE2005 have extra CC program?

in my opinion, a only solution is u may need tv processor that has analog CC like what i have viewsonic nextvision N5. it has built in CC. i use that from my PC to a projector. it works fine. i can watch any program with analog CC. N5 is not for HDTV. if you want better tv processor for HDTV and analog/digital CC then, try N6, HD10 or HD12.

but my TV have bulit-in CC, I use MCE2005 PC "Video-Out" to TV
you think VGA Plug will work for N5, N6, H12 to TV?

PC to tv processor to tv - yes
PC to tv processor to projector - yes
PC to tv processor to LCD - yes
Pc to tv processor to HDTV - that depends on what processor u have.

my N5 has RF, component video (YPBPr), S-video, composite (RCA), RGB, and speakers plugs.

only HD10 and HD12 have Composite - RCA jacks; component YPbPr - 3 RCA jacks, S-video, 4-DIN, DVI-D, RGB-HDCP

speaking of N5, i won the bid on it in ebay.com... at retail store it costs 140 to 160 bucks and i paid it for only 62 dollars included shipping. i suggest ya to get n6 because it is better than n5..

beware: never buy N4 cuz it has no CC.

I like HD12 that they have beautiful multi-Font, size, color

but I have Video Card with TV-Out work TV with CC?

you think Video Card with TV-Out won't work CC but all model Vidwsonic will work CC from MCE2005?

few month ago, I was ready buy HC12 at Microcenter, but I saw HP, Sharp, some model have beautiul multi-font, I was quit HC10, I am waiting HDTV need 5ms or less I will buy it
but right now, I use TV-Out work CC ???

my Video card is ASUS X700 Pro (ATi's chipset X700 Pro) have TV-Out and TV-in and I have ATI Elite Wonder, I will test it tonight if Elite have TV-Out yet

but ATI HDTV Wonder only for OTA (Over the air), it is few about 20 but I press up and down channel very slow!!!! but 1 to 79 I press fast! work one card both Analog and Digital in MCE2005!! I mad ATI Elite Wonder can't back store already last octomber! sigh

HDTV Wonder is up to 1.6 speed but Elite is 3.0 speed but Elite is best picture than all TV Tuner

I will test Digital to BurnDVD Tonight see..see..

final I fix hdtv both analog and digital in one card but it is bad news

I test Analog's CC size than Digital's "Larage", I need "Extra Larage"

"ABCNews" 3 line smooth up about 30 fps but Digital is bad smooth about 15-20 fps

"ABCNews" Digital Larage CC is 2 1/2 line!

bummer... have u tried that on hdtv. it may be different. i could be wrong. i dont have hdtv tuner card for my hdtv yet. probably next year.

yea i have N5. i suggest ya to get N6 cuz it is little better than N5. i got it last year and now i realized N5 doesnt have what n6 have, however i am quietly happy with my N5.

i am holding my DIY projector project for two months cuz my 15" LCD got blew up by wiring the circuit board in error. i have to buy another LCD. lol. it is more likely to get it this coming spring.

yeah but reemmber we talk about problem CC, not good screen 1) line need move bottom, 2) Digital's CC is cut line, 3) not good copy DVD, WMA, etc..

if not good, only HDTV and Digital box or CableCard without MCE

many MCE Forums don't care about Closed Caption nothing! and won't to Burn, MEPG, AVI, etc are nothing Closed Captoin!
I look website and forums every day and pretty tired
