I was reading earlier that CART services were sometimes hard to find. I want to let you know that I just started doing telesales for Premier Visual Voice out of Bedford, OH.

As you well know, you don't have to live in Ohio to benefit from our services. CART is, for the most part, done remotely.

I am here not only to introduce you to our services, but also to become more aware, (since I am selling the product), how the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community feels about CART services.

If you have used, or are aware of these services, would you mind responding by giving me some insight? My background is that I am hearing, and at one time, wanted to be an ASL interpreter. My skills, unfortunately are not perfect and I was dissuaded by my inability to service the community in that arena. I have since acquired a degree in Deaf Studies, and have a passion to serve the community.

When I met the owner of PVV, (who, by the way, is legally blind), I became aware of this alternative form of communication and am very excited to offer CART services. I have since learned that a study was conducted at Galludet University and it showed that students using CART services were actually improving their GPA's.

I would really appreciate your feedback on this subject...Thanks!
