Hi all, I would like to suggest a new (still experimental actually) software we developed. We think it could become very useful for many people. It is free, supports all languages and natural talk. Automatically punctuates, so no need to dictate: "period" and such. Let us know what you think, and how we can make it better. SpeechLogger - Automated Transcription & Simultaneous Translation

It uses the best technologies out there (google's engines & more) so it should give you the best possible results.

All the best,

Speechlogger

Please correct if I'm wrong...

Is that possible, my hearing kids speak our microphone to automatic text on here? So I can read what it said?

Thanks!

Answer to question: Yes - you are very correct

You are correct - anyone can speak to the mic and you will see it on the screen as text. You can also connect it to phone and use as caption-phone" or any other idea, using automatic natural speech to text.

How do I get it to work? I have an iPhone 5. It says I need a Chrome. What's that? I need this app pretty bad! Thanks!

I remember old day, I tried Dragon app on PC and try to make my own speech to see if I can learn to improve my speech. Problem, it wouldn't understand me during my drunk voice.

How is this different from Dragon? Or the microphone that's already on the iPhone? I can speak into my iPhone's microphone and it comes right up as text.

Same here. I speak into mine, but it only gets about 1/2 of it right. My speech is just a bit too deaf.

eek.. that's a lot. I'll have to go back and look on my friend's timeline- there's a few apps that were mentioned that works for 'passing back and forth for notes" between deaf and hearing and where the text is really big. That's one thing I'd like to find- something that has big enough text- at least for ME to see well lol.
