Has anyone tried this? I've tried it a few times but I find it awkward. I have a profound hearing loss and can hear words but I have no word recognition. I can hear when the person stops talking and I begin talking but there seems to be too much of a delay in receiving the text and it also seems that both persons are talking at once at times. I do like that the text are much faster, spelling is better and make sense.

Just not sure i like it better than the traditional TTY where GA seems to be the key here.

What do others think?

I have the app. I rarely use it though. I noticed that it takes the operator about 2 or 3 minutes to translate what the person on the other phone, is saying and is super slow at it. I wished that they could improve on translating a bit faster. Plus, I noticed that when i try to dial a number in, it gets a bit complicated at times. I don't know why, It should be simple to just dial the number in and make the call. Because when you dial the number, it goes to the main dial keyboard on the phone and you have to jump back to the app while the phone is still making the call, etc. Plus dialing the number at the main screen of the app gets a little complicated.

I wish they would make the app a bit more easier and less complicated. This would be a really great app for some hoh people or people with CI's, etc. But for now i perfer using my audio cable hooked up to my phone to listen to music and make calls.
