An Old Diary Entry

I found an old entry in my diary that could explain why I'm so content with my current condition. I was apparently in misery. I put it here, but I filtered it a bit because I got a little profane at the end, and I decided to hide my !@#$%^&* doctor's name =)

---Quote---
I think I've developed a preference for tinnitus. It's like reclining on the lush grassy bank of a pond at the base of a rushing waterfall, the wind passing through the treetops of the old firs towering over the forest creek bed. The sound of the churning water overpowers the sound of my neighbours children screaming outside and my other neighbours' intolerable taste in music. Sometimes, I could almost swear I can hear the gentle throbbing of the acoustic delta waves from the Centerpointe Holosync CDs.

When the tinnitus is gone, the smallest click feels like the pounding of a sledgehammer at full swing slamming directly onto my hair cells. Every time I chew, it's like two large angry dogs barking, one directly into each ear.

!@# $%^& *!@#$%^ &*!@#$% Dr. Xxxxx Xxxxxx doesn't believe me. I've had enough of that ^&*!@#$ %^&*. I'm never going back.
