I'm really glad I found this site. Wow! I'm super impressed. Lots of great stuff here. So who am I??

I teach Interpreter Training students, and have worked with the Deaf Community for the past 25+ years. I hope it's okay that I'm hearing... if it matters, (I don't think it does), I am Deaf in one ear, due to Ototoxic Poisoning from Meds for a severe infection while I was hospitalized.

I have a 21 year old daughter that is engaged to a CODA. They are planning to marry after they finish their last two years of College. She is studying to be a CSI, and he is in Deaf Education.

Did I mention my degree is Deaf Ed?? Like I said, I've been in the field so long, I've just about done it all. VR Counselor for the Deaf, Assoc. Director at the local Deaf Center, and now 12 years at the College teaching the ITP!! :eek3:

Almost time for me to retire!! :giggle: Seriously, I love what I do, and am so glad my life took this wonderful path!!

Thanks for the read, and I hope to meet and interact with many of you!! :dance2:
