families really need to become more aware of how you feel.  I think that ASL

I am a hearing student at SUNY Ulster in NY State. I'm taking a class called "Intro to Deaf Culture"
I took the class because I would like to know more about the Deaf world. I havn't taken an ASL class yet, but know a few signs. I plan on taking ASL before I finish. :fingersx: I feel that we need to educate the Hearing about Deaf people so that they have a better understanding of how to treat and communicate with Deaf people. I will be giving a presentation about Deaf experiences. Would anyone like to talk about their personal experiences? It would be highly appreciated.:ty:]]></description>
