In December 2006, my wife suffered from sudden hearing loss and lost 100% hearing in her left ear. She is troubled by tinnitus and for the past few months has complained that she is having the same problem with her right ear. She went to her ENT, Dr Hammerick, and had another hearing evaluation. Same results, but at least she was told that her hearing in her right ear was stable and no loss at any frequency.
I firmly believe that everyone who experiences any hearing loss should have their hearing re-tested every year.
