Help!!!

I will be turing 18 on july 12, my father has never paid child support in his...my lifetime...the papers show that he owes over 40,000 in child support...when i was 17 last year...i decided to meet him and see why this all happened...i never really got a direct answer...but that it was my mother who was stoping him and i just didnt know because my mother isnt a part of my life...i have pretty much been on my own at a very young age...but my fater decided that i could live with him...and well it only lasted about two months and then he kicked my out because my step mom didnt like me and it was to much of a finasal problem...he has put me threw so much and i dont care if i never see the money but is there a way where i can sue him for that? or do anything at all that will put him threw trouble and have to pay money or even jail time...i know this sounds harsh but there has just been so much and it would probably take the rest of my life to explain it...so if anyone can give me some information...anything....that will be greatly appreciated....thanks lots!!!
