Hi all! Just looking in. Been away for a long time. Glad to see I can blog here. Hope I can easily learn my way around. It's raining here in the Philippines and it's a pleasantly cold morning. But I'm missing the sound of rain.

It's 11:27 pm here in the Philippines. Willie the cat is sitting on the window sill watching me type this post and I suspect he's also watching out if I will eat a midnight snack and I think he's hoping I'll invite him to eat.
I can also smell the strong scent of the dama de noche or night blooming jasmine from outside the window. This plant blooms during the months of June and July. True to it's name, it only blooms and spreads its scent at night.
So tonight is all sight and scent and no sound at all. I seem to "hear" the sound of the keys as I type but I think I dont really hear it.
Rather, I just feel it. There's howling in my right ear, though. Tinnitus, you know. 
Anyways this is just a trial blog post. I hope I will have more time so I can find friends and fill my friends list.
