How to get rid of dog's odors in my truck?

I bought a truck from my sister last fall. I smelled a strong dog odor in my truck. I learned that she takes her three boxers to her work about three times a week. She is a vice-president of a print shop. She bought her own new truck.

I do not like to buy a scent symbol tree hanging on the mirror. I rather to do something to get rid that smell permantly. I put my air filter/icon machine and turned it on and closed my door for one day. It worked but it is only last for a few days.

Do you have a better idea to get rid of it? i.e. a shampoo?

Yes there are such products that can remove stains and odors caused by the pets. I used a spray from PetCo and it worked EXCELLENTLY. this product is called "Simple Solution Stain and Odor Remover"... I see that they are selling their small spray for 5 bucks. Not bad~
Do get natural-safe odor remover etc because it is more safer/healthier and EFFICIENT in removing unlikely other chemical removers.

Good luck

Simple... put something else that makes it smell stronger than the dog odor. Pissing in the truck does the trick!

Seriously, there are pet odor removal stuff you can get at your local Walmart, Target, or grocery store.

Dont forget not only just dog piss but dog hair in car.....

My Dalmatian keeps shedding hair a lot. Pongo oftens leave hair everywhere in the back seat and front passenger seat. It was a total bitch to vacuum dog hair out of cloth seats esp dark gray fabric *AUGH!* But good boy Pongo is since he never leaves neither puddle nor mess in the car...whew!

You mean Febreze? They still sell them. They even made a newer version with various better-smelling fragrances.

My dog Bo has been ridden in my car several times. She was a good girl which never puke or pee in my car. If I see her acting weird, I will pull my car off.

speaking of dogs puking in cars.....8 years ago, I had a little peekapoo mix dog riding with me. A friend was also riding in the back seat at that time.

Gawdawful was my dog puked on me friend's lap making a whole mess out of the car's back seat and my friend was pissed at me for letting my dog ride in my car after feeding her.

It was a complete hell cleaning the dog mess out of the car but good thing was the car happened to be a POS anyways!
