I would agree.
I would also say that red is in accidents more. Most people who have red cars have a tedency to speed.

Tell that to me....I wrecked a yellow car (78 Toyota Corolla) big time at night. I'd rather have mine in maroon after all I had more maroon and red cars than any other color including my present Sable (Medium Midnight Tor-Red) |

Nowadays yellow are much used on sports cars like the Corvette, Pontiac GTO, Ferrari Enzos and Porsches than the average 4 door sedan. |

Awwwwww, my car is red, bought it brand new 4 years ago, and never got involved in any car accidents (touch wood). Okay, I will buy silver car later on. I received car speed ticket about once per year more or less ~ its not too bad!
I thought red car is sexy color!

about the colors of the vehicles. i dont believe in that kind of crap! depends on the individual's maturity in driving. i had a red truck before never had any accidents or tickets, one gold truck and another blue truck both had been in accidents so therefore it doesnt matter on the color. |

thats also true and should be taken in consideration as well on the maturity of the driver -- especially teen drivers!!!! theyre not quite mature enuf to realize the responsibilities on the road also includes not speeding and no recklessness behaviors as well

I drives in various condition... I'm usually a little aggressive driver on the road and usually go 5 mph over speed limit even I drove past a police car on the highway... they don't even care unless I go zoom. No accident or speeding ticket yet *knock on my chest instead of wood* but I did got pulled over by a unmarked patrol car for shopping lanes quickly and often. The police gave me a verbal warning, not even a ticket or warning ticket... just tell me to slow down and he asked me why did I do that and what i'm in hurry for... I had the best excuse by telling him that my car is thirsty and about to ran out of gas... so after I talked with the police, he looked at my gas picture and it was nearly past "E" so goodness the gas station was at the next block... I pretend that my car was out of gas by pushing my car to the gas station...

[quote=sablescort]It's a factory color of course. It was a 1978 and yellow was often a factory color way back in the 1960s and 1970s.
This is true!!! My mother had a brand new Pinto car that was yellow, and this was in the 1970s. I remember riding in that car when I was a kid.

I think white cars is one of the safest colors. Black cars...you cannot see at night, unless the headlights are on.
Red cars makes me think of "speeders"....but yes, I agree that the maturity of the driver is what depends on red cars. |
