I've seen a Nissan v4 truck beat a mustang just because the mustang was an automatic while the nissan was light and had standard...and a good driver.

they raced at track afterward. the result was.

Ford lightning won.

z06 = 12.50 @116
lightning = 11.31 @ 118

Hrm....I don't believe that..

I've made a video while driving a car on a highway...when you look around the side of the car...the trees blaze by...but in that video that you posted..it doesn't seem to blaze much...

I'll be damned if its true the Lightning kicks Corvette ass.

Its going to be truly embarrassing when a truck beats a Corvette in a drag race.

by the way, I found out that the truck wasnt stock. Lightning is faster than you think it is.

I have rode one, very impressive. This is first generation lightning, which is lightest of all.

ok compare this.

Lightning's Base Price, I would say around 30k.
Z06's Base Price, $40k

that means 10k left for lightning's modifications. That mean you cant call that lightning a cheater. 10k is enough to make any vechicles into beast.

yeah, theres was one autocross hosted by University of okobojoi corvette club.

this lotus with focus engine was winner. That tells you that any engine, any size can be winner.

its 20mph to 110 mph racing or something like that. let me look up.

That looks like a F150 truck.

Yeah right. Its cuz not only the focus motor in it plus it much lighter than the Corvette (its a pig compared to the Lotus/Catherham) and I would suspect the guy driving the Lotus/Caterham was also messing with the rear end gearing to make it go faster and then throw in auto x suspension settings.
