libeling id like to see it work on both ways and not just short drive either and if we do get it id like to see plugs ready in the ground so we can plug it up while we go shopping and not run out of battery |

^ I agreed with her!!!!
Seriously, I do NOT think electric car will ever be in mass production. There has been attemption in getting Electric car in mass production since when? 1890!!! Yes 1 8 9 0!, not 1980! |

It's actually the opposite. The regulations on power plants are far higher. Recent generation Natural Gas turbines extract far more energy out of the fuel(50%+) than any ICE(~20-25%) and produce and order of magnitude less pollution.

I think I would rather buy a car that use biofuel than one that use elec. But I got to wait until my town have a biofuel station...sigh. I have heard some states in the north and midwest already have station like that.

Ford did build electric cars but only lease them, not selling them.
SilentWolfDog - Biofuel? Do you mean E85? If so, you got to make sure that your car can take it. If not, you can have it converted. My car can't take E85 I am all for electric cars, fuel cell cars so we can be free from oil dependance. |

I seen this car before on discovery channels "Green fuel" series or w/e it was. It looks like a yellow GT40 ford, minus hardtop and smaller. The guy raced it against a fuel using car and well..... smoked the other car I think, which was a sports car ..... i forgot.
