Lightbulb Emergency Medical Services

Hello! I am a hearing Paramedic. I am also a college student working on my associate degree in American Sign Language Interpretation.

I am writing a report about the need of Sign Language interpreters in Emergency Medical Services. I am wanting to know what you feel is the best way to effectively communicate when an Emergency situation happens.

The options I have offered in my report are:
Qualified Sign Language Interpreters
VRI's
Text-Telephone
Use of family members/friends

Remember this communication would be needed after calling 9-1-1 when the ambulance and paramedics arrive at your home and before arriving at the hospital.

Any help with this question is appreciated. Thank you very much in advance! Have an amazing day!
