Advantage of Kansas and Missouri VR services?

I'm actually KSB snowowl's wife. I will be a graduate student at University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, KS. I learned that I potentially receive services from either MO or KS. However, I need to decide which side I will reside for next 5 years. The Medical Center straddles on the state line, and I still need to find an apartment.

I am curious with those from both Missouri and Kansas- how accessible are the VR services from those states? I want to take advantage of the situation that will potentially help me through graduate school.

Thanks for any information shared!
