Somewhere I used to live, the local Taco Bell drive-through was one place I frequented and all the workers there knew me. I just had to bypass the order menu and go straight to the drive-through window and give piece of paper with my order on it. However, one evening a new worker was there when I pulled up at the drive-through window at 11pm. The worker opened the windows and I handed the piece of paper and he abrupted slammed the windows. The kid didn't know I was deaf and thought I was there to hold him up. This made me laugh because I'm a harmless-looking person, but I pointed to my ear and mouthed, 'I'm deaf' and he opened the windows and took my order. Have you ever experienced a similar incident?
