Unification is a must if deaf society was ever to beach themselves onto the promised land of fairness, equality, and justice. Unil that happens theyre lost drifting in the high seas being pushed by the winds of changes.

This is why LMM have always lived by vaules of the culture, but she have meet hearing people who have been helpful. They are far & few in between!
Where she move's too, she have always found the Deaf Community. In her town now, They don't have the club's, But sure some people she knows will soon have them. Since they just open the door's for her & other Deaf in her town. They have be wonderful in helping the Deaf Coomunity. She need to get her butt in there to vist, But she's be very sick. Hope she will start feel better on her new med.s, so she can go vist. She miss chat w/ people there.
One of tthem still read's this board. this why she ask me to post. Let they know what's happen.
They have few hearing people work there to commicate w/ hearing people & their terp's. But LMM thinks they have more Deaf work there. Since it's about Deaf!
When Deaf and /or LMM call there they don't have to rely on Relay, since the Deaf that work there have TTD phone's.
They do event's for the Deaf. They have outting's. get together's. They have chat meet's each week. They play card's & games. they also teach classes.
They really do help the Deaf Commuity. They care about them. This what you call a good team of people trying to Gap the bridge!
LMM want's to thank them for everything they have done for her & the community! Yes you may pass this along the office LMM friend there.
