But from what little I know, NASCAR cars have to conform to the body shape of select manufactured cars... while F1 cars are basically a seat on wheels, with some added stuff to keep the thing on the ground... a bit of a difference there.

I totally agree with you there.... Did you know that F1 cars idle around 5-6,000 rpms? That's just be standing on your engine that high, then it'd blow up!
