How much of a hearing loss does it take to qualify? Does the ADA have a particular limit? Does each state have its own definition, or is it just up to the Deaf person?
Check with a CRC in your state. The organizations vary by state in qualifying criteria. The ADA does not address the issue of service dogs, except in the context of access.
