My material grandparents were farmers and had large farmland. They grew all kind of vegetables and some fruits. Also raised tobacco (they never smoked in their lives.) They had several livestocks like cattle, horses, pigs and chicken.
When my grandfather died, my grandmother leased the farmland to other farmers (the one she knew) who needed more room.
I have enjoyed helping my grandparents on their farm. I don't know if I would want to have a farm of my own. I have too much of city in me.
