Shel90, could your daughter go to a charter school? Or even MSD because I hear they accept hearing children now. If she goes to MSD then she'll have more help from the teachers.
My daughter is 11 years old...she is not going to adjust well to a change like that. She is happy at the school and doing well in all subjects except for math. She learns math best using tactile learning not auditoritally. My ex hubby, few other parents and I are fighting with the school about changing their approach. That's why my life has been so hectic in the last few weeks...been going to meetings. Not fun but it will be worth it.
