One Scientist just discovered new type of battery extracted from soil chemstry (start with "o..." something like that) and it recharges very quickly and put out high amperage in a long run. It is very light weight than Lithuim.. He said that it will be used for electric and Hybrid car in the near future. It is still under experimental stage now.
I sure hope new battery would be much cheaper than Lithuim!!
